Dear Parents,

I was born and raised in Brazil. However, for 16 years I lived in the cold state of Minnesota before moving to the Pensacola area in 2022. For 15 of those years, I worked in a clinical setting alongside doctors providing healthcare to patients as a Medical Assistant. I have a bachelor’s degree in education. Prior to being a Medical Assistant I spent 10 years as a teacher for pre-k all the way through high school. Recently, I have felt a pull by the Holy Spirit to come back to teaching. Through many heartfelt prayers, and a seemingly miraculous chain of events, God has led me to Pensacola Junior Academy.

I have spent my entire life serving God and my fellow neighbors. Whether it has been in the Seventh-day Adventist church where I helped my father start up and grow numerous churches in Brazil or teaching students the basics of life and how to know a loving God to showing compassion on the sick, I’ve always had a place in my heart for service to others. I know this is where God has led me, and I promise to show the same compassion and love that I’ve unfailingly brought my whole life to every person that walks through the doors of Pensacola Adventist Academy (PAA).

Yours sincerely,

Mrs. Hoy
